A Cutter * is just an Editor you haven’t met.

I’m Dennis Riebenstahl.
Since 2011 I’ve been editing film as a freelancer. Based in Hamburg—with a brief stint in Toronto—I worked in many different places, including remotely with my own setup.

The creative services I provide, intersect with multiple disciplines in the film production and post-production process.
I create a concept of the story, I edit the footage, and use various aspects & techniques from animation, compositing, visual effects (vfx), and color timing, to arrive at a finished piece, that inspires me and that I can stand behind.

* In Germany, next to the classic “editor”, the term “cutter” has established itself to mean exactly the same thing.
